Today I have the other half of the new Zoya fall collection.  These are the creams and they make up the Entice collection.  I REALLY super loved the colors in the Ignite collection and while I liked the colors in this set, I didn't find them to be as "WOW" as the others.  My favorite of the bunch were Veronica and Ryan,  Above we have Nyssa, a milk chocolate brown.  There have been a load of browns released by Zoya recently and I have about 10 of their browns already but this wasn't a dupe for any so that's a win!  All of these are swatched with two coats, no top coat and as you can see while there isn't anything special about the color of Nyssa, the formula is pretty spectacular. 

Next up is Genevieve, a cool leather grey.

Then we have Margo, a modern red plum.

And my other favorite of the collection, Veronica, a brilliant red wine.  This was another super shiny one.  I love how bright it is!




Last we have Claire, a warm, rich burgundy.  I don't know why but for some reason when I photographed this it looked sort of splotchy.  I can assure you this is lighting and not the quality of the polish.  Like the others, Claire was opaque and flawless in two coats.  It's a nice deep red with a little hint of orange in there.

We're still chugging along with Small Nails month here at Bee Polished! Today I have another NYFW inspired nail look for you!  This one was inspired by the butter LONDON for Nicole Miller nail art look.  They actually used their new lacquer, The 444 which is a champagne glitter but I like the holographic effect of Tart With a Heart so I went with that. This is another look that is really made for shorter nails because the base is very sheer and on a longer nail the super dark tips might overwhelm the look. I also tend to think that dark french tops on nails with a free edge tends to make it look like you have dirty nails!  Although I'll admit I like the edgy side of it and do rock it here and there. I used The Black Knight to do the tips and these nails sparkled like nothing else! Glitter is also a great way to go when you're growing nails out because it lasts a bit longer than a standard creme polish which makes it ideal for putting on and forgetting about it! Well it's finally here! It's October and this year October is the month of the SMALL NAIL on Bee Polished!! On Saturday, I told you how I had nubbinized my nails for job interviewing. As they're growing back to their medium/short length, I want to show you all how much fun shorter nails can be!  This is a perfect time to do this because NYFW just happened and if you surf for nail art from the event you'll notice that all the models have short, rounded nails. Very classic and very versatile.  This is actually a look from last years fashion week but I love it.  It works really well on shorter nails because the ratio of the neon to white is much better. I love brighter colors anyway on a short nail because I feel like it's not as flashy as on longer nails! Plus this look is wickedly easy to achieve and because the color is concentrated at the ends, it can actually draw the attention up and make shorter nails less stubby looking, especially if you have wider nail beds!  I hope you all have fun exploring the world of short nails with me this month! Today I have some new swatches for you! The Zoya Gloss collection.  It's a collection of three, layer-able jelly polishes.  I'm a huge lover of jellies in general but the problem with them is that they often have a finicky formula.  Some are too thin, some are too thick, many are streaky and difficult to get an even look from.  I'm happy to report that these are none of the above.  So let's get on with the swatching, shall we?

I'm starting with Zoya Paloma.  Paloma is a bright, raspberry toned pink polish.  I used three coats here and it's still not opaque (jellies never really are!) but there isn't an obvious nail line either which I really liked.  It's SUPER glossy, even, and still has that squishy quality about it that makes me love jelly polishes!  This one has a nice, bright color to it so it would be perfect to wear with less coats as well.  I think Paloma was my favorite of the bunch.

This is Zoya Katherine.  Katherine is a red-toned aubergine according to their website.  I think that about sums it up though.  It's definitely an eggplant hue but it's just a smidgen on the red side.  I thought I was going to dislike this one after the first coat but here we are at three again and it's just perfect.  These were all so easy to work with.  They even out nicely on the nail with little effort and look how glossy this one was when it dried!  They don't even need topcoat! Perfection.  This one was originally designed for Peter Som during NY Fashion Week.

Finally we have Frida.  Frida is a teal toned jelly and it was the one I expected to like the most.  But it's also the most sheer of the bunch and unfortunately, teal nails just never look appealing when the polish is sheer!  This is three coats and you can clearly still see VNL which was a surprise to me given how the other two built up.  That said it's still a really gorgeous shade and the formula was still a dream on it.  I can see myself wearing it in the future but more likely as a jelly sandwich of some sort than just as a color on its own. 

Overall these are great polishes.  No streaks on the formula, no unevenness (which is common with jelly polishes), rich colors and an unbeatable glossy finish.  Which one is your favorite?
