Blue Skies Ahead...

Today's Spring Challenge was Mr. Blue Skies. As I've been ill with the flu these past few days I'm using this picture of a mani I did back toward the beginning of February.  I was doing a Spring mani to cheer myself up from the wintery weather at the time and now it seems all too fitting for the theme!! I used Zoya Kirsten as a base and then added clouds with Revlon White on White.  Then I added a little flower using Leighton Denny Hepburn, and Zoya Pippa. Then I added a little bee using Hard Candy The End and added some little dots to make a "bee trail" with the same polish.  The green stems were an off name Indian polish one of my classmates loaned me!  Hope you enjoy and thanks so much for following!!

Today's Purple Crupmet Fairy Spring Challenge is to do small flowers or a flower bed.  I started with a COMPLETELY different design for this challenge but then I pulled out this awesome vintage 60's mod dress I have to wear today and I decided to do these to match.  I used Color Club Twiggie for the base (fitting no? I swear it was a complete accident!!) and stamped Barry M Cyan Bllue over the top. :)  These nails make me so anxious for Spring!! Thanks for following!! :)

Pink Wednesday is here again.  This week I sort of stumbled onto my pink mani because I happened to get a free Zoya in my monthly Birchbox.  The color was Izzy and really, while I LOVE this color I don't think it's appropriate for my age range! My husband pointed out that it sort of looks like those little girls press on nails you buy at the store.  I do love the color though so I'm hoping I can find a way to use it that looks less childlike!  The flowers were from another free polish, Trophy Wife, that was gifted to me recently. :) You can't beat free polish!!

Ever since I learned how to make these little 'hollow' flowers I've been in love. :)  They're SO easy to do and they look really fancy on your nails.  I got four new polishes in the butterLONDON buy one get one event at Ulta so I just used my new colors to make an easy pink mani. :) Enjoy and thanks for following!
